I was 16 years old when I started working. I wanted to grow up fast, have my own money, and my own place to live! Just think about how many jobs I’ve had since then—ten, to be exact. All of them have been in the service industry, but in different sectors. My first job was as a hostess at McDonald's, and my last position was as an operations manager at Ezeto. In between, I’ve worked in well-known retail stores and office jobs.
But how did I go from flipping burgers, selling clothes and makeup, and working at a startup in the mobility industry to… weddings? 🤔
I’ve always been glued to Say Yes to the Dress. Ever since the first season of Love is Blind (USA) came out, I’ve been completely hooked. And surely no one has missed the Swedish seasons that have been released now too??
When others were out picking mushrooms, I was always with my grandmother picking flowers. I’ve probably seen every wedding movie you can think of. The love, the celebration, the countless special moments throughout the day—I’ve always been so in love with love itself. It’s just so beautiful! 🤍
Wedding bells are ringing,
My big dream came true when my then-husband proposed to me in 2020, and wedding plans were about to begin! Am I really going to marry the man I love most in the whole world?? Plan the best party of my life?? I had never been so happy and stressed at the same time!! Two years of planning and saving, and then the day came and went in the blink of an eye. Bridezilla much? Oh yes, times ten! But it was the most beautiful experience of my life, and worth every single penny and minute spent on this celebration. But then it hit me.. Was I never gonna plan a wedding again? 🥺
One evening, I was sitting with my friend at Hagabion here in Gothenburg. “Bianca, I’m thinking… what if I became a wedding coordinator?” We talked about it excitedly for the rest of the night, and the idea started to stick more and more.
I started looking into courses and the industry—can you actually work with this, and to what extent? I began following all kinds of inspiring people and felt my whole body buzz with excitement and joy. 🥂
I started planning..
The year after I got married, we went on our honeymoon to Cyprus. In between moments of relaxation, I listened to wedding podcasts, read various blogs, and completely immersed myself in the wedding world! On the flight home, I sat sketching the logo for my future business. Slowly but surely, I started outlining my plans and ideas in the evenings while working full-time.
When the company I worked for went bankrupt in January 2025, I took it as a sign. It was time. After a lot of back and forth, I’m finally here, ready to give it my all. And that’s how I ended up here.
